Elizabeth B.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Elizabeth joined our hospital in 2017. She is from Lynchburg and graduated from BRCC's Licensed Veterinary Technician program in 2012. Elizabeth enjoys assisting with surgical procedures (scrubbing-in with the veterinarian) and anesthesia. Her furry family members include “Fiona” a mixed breed dog who will do ANYTHING for food, “Jade” a Siamese kitty with a quintessential Siamese personality, aka Queen of the porch. She also has “Blackjack”, the baby of the feline crew, and “Addie”, the laid-back/go with the flow kitty. In her free time she likes hiking, yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Kelsey B.
Kelsey graduated from BRCC's Veterinary Technician program in 2018 and joined our team the same year! She enjoys helping owners care for their furry family members, performing labwork, and is a member of Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Outside of work Kelsey likes cooking/baking, gardening, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends.
Ashley C.
Ashley started working with us in 2005 as a kennel attendant. She graduated from BRCC in 2008 as a licensed Veterinary Technician. She is passionate about veterinary dentistry and laboratory skills. Ashley owns 4 chickens (hens) and 2 Peking ducks. In her free time she likes traveling, cooking, and hiking.
Ashley R.
Ashley has been part of our team since 2013. She graduated from BRCC with her Licensed Veterinary Technician license in 2013. Her favorite veterinary procedures include drawing blood (phlebotomy), placing IV catheters, and client education. Ashley lives with her husband Ryan, and son Kelby who was born in the spring of 2019. Her furry family members include “Mr. Harry Paul”, “Riddles”, and “Lloyd” - all cats, “Holly” and “Nick” - working dogs, and a bunch of brood ewes. Outside of work she enjoys fishing, raising show lambs, and spending time with her husband and son.
Meghann L.
Meghann joined our team in 2018 after she graduated Blue Ridge Community College's Veterinary Technician program. She enjoys being able to help sick animals and send them home when they feel better. She comes from a huge family with 6 siblings, all of which are animal lovers! Meghanns furry family members include “Molly” a lab mix, and “Duke” a beagle. They love playing “chase” in the yard. Outside of work, Meghann likes to hike.

Elizabeth joined our team in 1996. She has worked in the barn, as a kennel attendant, and currently is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Office Manager. She graduated from BRCC's LVT program in 2002. Elizabeth enjoys placing IV catheters, cytology, and helping to build the bond between fur-kids and their medical team. She lives with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs “Princess Kizzy” and “Roadie”, 3 cats, “Georgina”, “Rusty”, and “Aprilla”. In her free time she likes spending time with family and friends.
Ashley L.
Veterinary Assistant
Ashley has worked here since 2013. Her pets include a lab mix, “Talli May” who likes playing fetch, “Rosalie”who is a chihuahua that likes cuddling under blankets. She also has 3 kitties, lovable “Keira”, playful “Alice”, and laid back “Tubby”. Ashley graduated from the veterinary assisting program at BRCC in 2013. She has with her husband for 10 years, married for 3, and had a daughter, Everleigh in January 2019. Ashley enjoys helping animals and assisting pet owners with their furry family members healthcare. Outside of work she likes spending time with her daughter, going to the park with her dogs, reading, and watching movies.
Carolyn M.
In November 1987 Carolyn joined our team as a veterinary Assistant. She graduated from the North American School of Animal Sciences in May of 1991. She has a menagerie of pets including, “Daisy”, “Ernie Dog”, “Sabrina”, “Remie”, “Abby” - dogs, “Pearl” and “Georgie” - both African Gray parrots, “Indy” - Meyers parrot, “Parker” - Quaker parrot, “Ducky” - a rescued starling, “Reggie” and “Hamie” - both conures, and “Willow”, “Raindrop”, “Flower”, “Trudy” - all cats. She likes learning new things at work, taking radiographs, and assisting with chicken care.
Patsy M.
Patsy has been with us since 1978! She has “Lily” a Shih Tzu - and “Roxi” - a Pug .She enjoys her new job in our Dispensary. Outside of work, she likes to go to movies, hiking, sports, and traveling.
